Mining Block Distribution

This visualization displays the miner breakdown per 1,000 blocks on the Kaspa network, using a data snapshot captured on January 22, 2025.

By producing blocks at a rapid rate of 10 per second, Kaspa achieves a 6,000‑fold reduction in mining variance compared to Bitcoin. This dramatically reduces the incentive to join a mining pool, leading to more solo mining—and as pools control less hashpower, network security becomes more decentralized.

Use the “Group by” and “Shade by” controls to sort and color‑code blocks by mining pool for a clear view of each pool’s share. Solo miners are grouped under “Other”.
